Hello! I am a professional surf and alpine sports instructor.
I divide my time between coaching clients, judging competitions, running Ocean Safety, Avalanche Awareness courses and training and qualifying instructors. I lives between homes in Polzeath, Cornwall and Champery, Switzerland.
George’s Surf School offers ‘A Surfing Education’ our motto ‘live to learn, learn to live’ is shared with my first school. I have enjoyed a life-long love of sport, and owe any success to the patience, encouragement and expertise of my teachers and coaches. This motto articulates my own approach but is also a tribute to them. As a coach I am always striving to challenge myself, and continue learning so that I can inspire others the way that I have been.
I have always had a strong affinity with the mountains and the ocean. Through my work I share my knowledge and experience to help clients have fun, progress, and make informed decisions that will keep them safe and enjoying riding mountains and waves as much as I do.
