The Writing Retreat was founded and is run by Kath Morgan and Jane Moss, both experienced writers and tutors, living and working in Cornwall. Our aim at The Writing Retreat is to provide the sort of retreats we would like to go on ourselves, and we have, using the two lovely venues of Rosemerryn and Bosloe and, for the first time in 2018, Woodlands Manor Farm on the north coast near Bude. We welcome writers from all corners of the UK and overseas, coming together as a community for the week, making the most of the ‘off-season’ to get away from it all and enjoy tucking in by a log fire. We also run one day retreats during the summer months, and offer editorial and other mentoring and critiquing services all year around.
