Luke Brown

I take my inspiration from street photography, old black and white images – in particular Latigue and Bresson whose photographs he sees as being “happy and beautifully composed, capturing a precise moment that seems to defy the ability of their cameras”.

I live in Penzance and work as a freelance photographer. Prior to this I worked as a youth and community worker for 14 years where I used photography, film, painting and editing as tools to help young people express themselves and develop social skills.

I specialised in photography during my foundation year at Falmouth School of Art in 1991.
